All About You

Explain why you chose your blog’s title and what it means to you.

Haha! This one is actually staggeringly easy for me but it was also completely random and not interesting in the slightest. When I was at uni there was a webmail provider that allowed you to select one of any number of domain names for an e-mail address. I decided to go for this to be different to all those Hotmail people, and chose “unsung hero” because it allowed me to have my full name as the account name.

It kind of stuck from there and I used the domain for all sorts of accounts, adding my year of birth to make it unique. I’m not a fan of private number plates on cars here in the UK, but I do like the ones that make words. In a similar way, I always hated usernames that are just followed by sequential numbering, so I moved the year to the front and made “hero” plural.

Obviously it’s not a particularly common phrase, so I’ve been able to use it for account names all over the place. In that reason is made sense to keep it as a domain too.

Sorry that that was a bit boring!

When the storm arrives would you be seen with me?

The coldest blood runs through my veins.
You know my name.
