Hello, if we were having a coffee this week, mine would be a tea. I tried red apple Rooibos yesterday and it was really nice.
I really can’t remember what happened this week and I’ve spent a good 15 minutes staring at various screens trying to remind myself, without success.
I seem to have spent most of this week eating, and I feel a bit lethargic for it. I’m getting to the stage where I’m actually looking forward to a vegetable. Chocolate and cakes and crisps have just been there so I’ve eaten them. I’ve also developed a taste for hot chocolate.
I’ve also spent a lot of time listening to music. You may have noticed that I bought a HomePod this week and that I wouldn’t recommend many other people do, but it is very good at playing music. I bought a music subscription and have been enjoying asking Siri to play track after track.
My listening habits reminded me of my brother listening to the wireless; he used to change station when a song came on. The thing with having a subscription is that I can listen to any song of 45 million so I’d be listening to one and then would remember another. I spent hours listening to songs and I think I maybe listened to 3 or 4 all the way through.
I forgot how much I really liked just listening to music though. Nowadays it’s kind of an incidental activity for me – in the car while driving to work, at half time in the football… Sitting and mindlessly listening is wonderful.
Work has been a week of saying no, so the less I go in to that the better.
Yesterday was a Pokémon Go community event and I got a shiny Dratini (or 4) and therefore a shiny Dragonite.
It meant that I got my Dragon badge finally. What I couldn’t work out was how the majestic looking pink shiny versions looked so good, while the beast at the end looks so ugly! It’s actually a 98% Dragonite and therefore my best one, too.
Anyway, I’m tired and I have an early start. I have a feeling that next week is going to be not much fun at work, so I think I’ll swap my tea for one of those aforementioned hot chocolates and head to bed.
I hope you’ve had a good week.
