A quick note… People may or may not know that there are new data protection regulations in the EU. In summary, they relate to how organisations are allowed to store and use your data.
At the moment I’m a bit stuck. My blog is powered by WordPress. I use OneSignal to send push notifications and Mail Chimp to send weekly summary e-mails. This means that I use services that collected your data, and I’m assuming that those services are compliant with GDPR meaning that I am too.
From my perspective, I don’t use any of your data for anything other than allowing you to subscribe to my blog if you’d like to read it. I am quite passive on it, to be honest. I don’t really look at my subscriber or follower lists, and One Signal is a load of random numbers anyway! I haven’t built or use any apps that will deliver marketing content to you, or that distribute that data to anyone else knowingly to me.
But… If you want to unsubscribe from anything I use and can’t, please let me know via Twitter (link at the bottom of the page) and I’ll try my best to sort it for you.
