The Coffee With Sarah Connor And Hot Chocolate

Hello! If we were having a coffee this week, I’d go to get it and then get taken somewhere else before I get to it.  That seems to have happened a lot this week, and once because my friend who was picking me up was still in pyjamas and a dressing gown in the car.

I’ve also had too much hot chocolate this week.  I went to Hotel Chocolat last week and was introduced to their Velvetiser.  I want one.  I might have to ask Santa for one.  That has, however, inspired me to drink hot chocolate made in a pan with a whisk instead in larger quantities than I should.

My diet is something that I’ve been considering this week.  I have lunch and then go the shop at work and buy biscuits.  I need to stop doing it because my portion control is particularly bad – one packet = one portion.  To combat this I’ve invested in a month’s worth of Huel.  I’ll post a review, afterwards, but my thinking is that I’ll have one portion in the morning, proper lunch at work and one portion of it for dinner.  That’ll stop me going to the supermarket on my way home from work and getting baked goods to supplement the packet of biscuits I’ve just gone through.  To avoid the biscuits I cold just walk the other way when I go for a wander from the office.

This week I’ve been largely shaking my head at work.  On Tuesday, I was told that one of the “robots” (it’s basically a macro) had run 4,000,000 times in the last day and a half.  To put that in to context, it’s been used properly 4 times since March.  Apparently someone had done something to the script and not told us let alone not testing it.  We killed the robot.  I felt like Sarah Connor.

I’ve been exceptionally tired this week.  I don’t know if my (damn it, I’ve forgotten to do my washing!) vitamin D is still very low because of the lack of sun now autumn has arrived, or if I’m just not getting enough sleep.  I attempted to watch a new program called A Discovery of Witches because I’ve read the book and was really interested in it, but I fell asleep.  I attempted to watch Jumnaji (the new one) but fell asleep.  And waking up has been terrible.  I ended up getting  up 45 minutes late plus the little bit later I had been getting up anyway one way last week.  Fortunately I was still only 15 minutes late for work.

I thought I’d end with the big news of the week, though.  On Wednesday, I played football as per usual.  Not as usual, I scored a goal! I scored one goal in a game which had a lot of them.  I think it’s the second I’ve scored this year.  I was very proud of myself!

Oh, and I caught a shiny Geodude.

It’s been a not very exciting week again, but I’m hoping to make up for it next week, where I have football matches and concerts to go to which I’m really looking forward to.  I hope you’ve had a good week.
