Hello, if we were having a coffee this week, mine would be free because I have a gold star on my card. I guess that means I’m paying for yours…
I woke up on Monday and the first thing my brain did was search for some evidence that it wasn’t indeed Monday morning. I’m sure it was only a split second looking back, but it did feel like a long time, and I’m not sure what that said about the standard of my last weekend.
That has set the scene for this week that I haven’t know what day it is for most of it.
Still, on Wednesday I woke up from a dream that I was pregnant and about to give birth. I know the mother but it certainly wasn’t who I was expecting. Everyone’s plumbing was still correct and she was very comforting as the doctors told me that I would have to wait for my caesarian, so we went home and laughed at my cousin’s windows.
The week was largely unremarkable. I’ve been working some late nights this week still. On Friday, where I was working normal hours, I actually got so engrossed in what I was doing that I didn’t realise it was time to go home. It’s been a while since that happened.
I went to a live podcast thing on Friday night. It was three journalists talking about football and it was quite enjoyable, although less so when some people got a few drinks in and expected that said journalists were their mates and therefore indulged in a bot too much laddish behaviour.
On my way home there was a strange purple glow in the sky and I have no idea what it was.
The reason that this post if brief is not just my lack of material, but the fact that I got hiccups over 24 hours ago which kept me awake most of last night and are even now causing my chest to hurt. I’ve tried all sorts and still can’t get them to go away.
This week I caught a Deoxys, a shiny Krabby, a new behatted Pikachu and managed to finally get my hands on shiny Kyogre and shiny Articuno.
I also found out that a collection of ladybirds is called a loveliness.
I hope that your free coffee was as good as mine.
